How was the Apollo 11 space capsule recovered?  Find out the answers to these questions as you make history during this fun filled week of discovery.

History 2

Are you a history buff? If so, this camp is for you. You do not need to have taken History 1 to participate in this week; all you need is a love of all things historical. Come with us as we learn about the fort built to protect the San Francisco Bay during the Civil War.  Watch the engines that pull all of the cable cars up and down the steep hills around San Francisco. See the Immigration Station where thousands of people first set foot into the United States in the early 1900’s. Climb into the body of a 747 and touch the fuselage of a supersonic airplane.  History 2 week at UAC offers campers a variety of opportunities to experience history like never before.

Cost: $425/week

Ages: 8 - 15 years
