Urban Adventure Camps is a unique day camp that takes campers on daily field trips throughout the Bay Area to the top museums, activities and urban attractions. Children get to learn how to navigate the Bay Area and gain confidence and independence.

Physics and Technology

Cost: The cost for a full week of camp is $425; however, we do offer some need based scholarships.

With payment of camp fee, everything is included except lunch and pre and post day care (pre and post care are only available for camps at Rockridge BART). All museum entrance fees, transportation costs, instruction, and two snacks per day are included.

*** These are the current events planned for this summer. If one of these events gets cancelled, we will replace with an event of similar quality.

Location:

All camps meet and depart from the designated BART station. If you are interested in having UAC run any of the programs from another BART station or on a week they are not offered, please check out UAC Come to Me.

Have you ever built a ten-foot tower out of blocks or had your hair stand on end?  This summer you can fly around the world using a life size version of Google Earth, blow bubbles the size of a small car and climb around in a DNA double helix.  Spend the week exploring science museums and even a submarine.  Learn how roller coasters work and what it takes to become an astronaut.  Learning is cool and electrifying in the Physics and Technology camp at UAC.
